After a long few months, where Le Mons Lightning, Rob-O-Klopp and Butt Kickers all seemed like they might catch him, manager Lucchesi's side blew them all away with a stella end to the 2021/22 campaign.
Spartak's 3rd Super Fantasy Premiership title was confirmed with a season best of 67 for the weekend, and the second highest final total of all time. It also moves manager Lucchesi up to 4th in the Hall Of Fame, climbing above close rivals Walters and Peggs.
Lucchesi, from the otherside of the planet, was over joyed:
"It's been an honour and something I will really savour. Very well played Eli. Pushed it right to the end - it's been an amazing scrap to be part of."
And other's were quick to congratulate the Italian:
Manager Pritch Jnr:
"Hell of an effort Mike. Never easy to close one of these out. Munson salute you."
Manager Dale:
"Congratulations Mike, and well played Eli too. Superb title race and a very deserving victor."
Manager Jermy Jnr:
"Great title race, seeing Wellbeck pop up with a goal confirms the trophy is going East. From one Cheese to another, congratulations Mike."
Commiserations though have to go to to Le Mons Lightning, potentially one of the best squads to walk away with nothing, after an incredible League and Cup campaign.
In other final day drama, Rob-O-Klopp pip Butt Kickers into 3rd place, the battle for bottom of the top half was won by Here's The Thing, with Olympic Marte finishing top of the bottom half. Crackers took home the wooden spoon, having been top of the table back in September.

After finishing last season uncharacteristically empty handed, manager Dale concluded his 2021/22 season with his second FFACup title.
And, unfortunately for Manager Earl who 2 weeks ago was for an SFP treble finale, Le Mons Lightning again just pulled up short on the day and finished runners up.

FC Chuggernaut win their first major honour after a Zaha penalty is enough to win them the SFP Cup.
A 1:0 victory against the highest scoring team in this seasons competition seemed an unlikely score, but Le Mons Lightning couldn't find that all important strike when it mattered most.
It means manager McNamara adds his first honour to the trophy cabinet since his debut season back in 2011. It was also achieved despite having Vardy banned from the competition, and McNamara was fully aware of the importance of the his achievement:
"The biggest day of my SFP career, at the end of a controversial season for the franchise."

In a pulsating Pritchard Derby 5ASide Cup final, it was the Munson outfit who took the crown with one of the final kicks of the weekend.
For The Flying Pigs, it was their chance to finally add some silverware to that empty 28 year old trophy cabinet. It was also Pritch Snr.'s first ever 5aside Cup final. For Pritchard Junior however, having won 3 times already and having never lost a 5aside Cup final, his Munson side were the early favourites.
By the end of the first days play, the Flying Pigs held a 3 point lead having played all 5 players. Munson had 2 players left to make 4 points. On the Sunday Eddie Nkeitah added a single point, meaning on the the Monday night, September signing Ronaldo had to produce something to win it. It all came down to a penalty kick in the 60th minute - score and Munson would take it, miss and the Flying pigs would surely take the honour. Ronaldo scored, and gave Pritchard Junior a joint record 4th 5ASide Cup win. The Munson Chief was quick to commend his opponent:
"Great effort, valiant display. Your time will come. My own kids wanted you to win. We owe it all to Ronaldo."
For the Flying Pigs, the wait goes on. Pritch Senior was gracious and positive in defeat:
"Good game, well done bro. Ronaldo tends not to fluff his lines. As for the Flying Pigs, we'll regroup, #backstronger next year."

Manager Earl picks up the April manager of the month award.
Le Mons Lightning have had a bumper month, homing in on league leader Lucchesi, and securing an SFP Cup final against Manager McNamara.
