You wait for one 6000+ day stat to be broken, then two come at once.
After Crackers ended their 6600 days wait to go top, so Le Mons Lightning also end a lengthy spell without taking pole, as manager Earl delivered his best ever scoring week with a 81 point haul.
Not since 21 January 2005, as Earl's Phoenix Club outfit, has the Lightning Chief looked down on the rest of the league. Back then, 'The Phoenix' were the only real challenger to treble winners Munson, sitting top through January, before slipping a place and finishing second. It has taken 6120 days for manager Earl to once again lead the pack - and not only did he do it with a PB score, he also smashed AC Spartak 7-1 in the cup across the same weekend.
Manager Earl was delighted, but isn't getting carried away:
"It would have been great if it was the biggest score for a single week. The mood in the camp is in a great place at the moment with Chuggernaught being the first to congratulate Le Mons after re-entering the league two seasons ago with steady progression. We can say especially this season, anything is possible, as no team seems to have any real constancy."

The draw for the 19th SFP Cup has taken place during Manager Lucchesi's half term family holiday to Jeju, South Korea.

From his roof top terrace Lucchesi wished the rest of the league well, before drawing out, on paper, surely one of the best draws of all time.

In Group A there is the Baynes derby, scheduled for 10 December, plus Wheelers take on sister-club FC Chuggernaut on Boxing Day. There are also a couple of Beloe Avenue head-to heads, and two Groom versus Ushers match-ups. The majority of the class of 1998 are in this group too.
In Group B there is are two more brother-derbies, as Pritchard's Senior and Junior also go head-to-head on 10 December and the Jermy boys meet on the same weekend too. Also in Group B, Rob-O-Klopp take on Crackers, a tie which now has more weight than ever. The class of 2000 are also all in Group B.
And with that, the Chairman thanks Manager Lucchesi for a fantastic draw. Manager Peggs begins his defence of the title against FC Chuggernaut this coming weekend, as Round One kicks things off.

After a wait of over 6600 days, or just over 18 years, Crockford's Crackers finally reach the number one spot.
Not since 23 August 2003 have the Crackers looked down on the rest of the league. George W. Bush was President, Tony Blair Prime Minister and Kevin Phillips, Dwight Yorke and the late Jose Antonio Reyes made up Crackers front 3. That season Manager Crockford peaked that weekend, as his side slid slowly down the table to finish 11th out of 13.
But this season, it was manager Dale who assembled this Crackers squad, and at the moment it seems inconceivable that the 'team-that-Rob-built' will end up at the wrong end of the table.
Manager Crockford is enjoying the limelight for now, but seems to think it won't last long:
"Making it to the top of the tree for the first time in 18 years - it’s a genuinely lovely thing to see happen, but I also feel bad about getting there."
"I only really take part in fantasy football because it keeps a grumpy old curmudgeon like me in contact with a great group of people, all of whom I have known for most of our lives. Even more so I have only been able to take part this year, with the unfortunate timing of the auction, thanks to the kind willingness of the GOAT to buy me a team, rather than solely concentrating on his own team."

"So to all of you other managers I say ‘unlucky losers, eat my dust’ - no really I just say don’t worry, it will be short lived and the truely class fantasy managers will come roaring past me and I’ll return to mid table obscurity."
"Oh and while I’ve got the chance, everyone should take a minute to thank Matt for all this that is fantasy football, after all, if it wasn’t for him and his fantasy football league, none of you lot would be reading this and wondering why I running on such a load of tosh!"

Manager McNamara followed up a solid seasons start by collecting the September manager of the month award.
FC Chuggernaut have quickly gobbled up the 40 point deduction, and already sit in a top 6 spot. At this rate, FC Chuggernaut will again be leading the way this side of Christmas.
Baynes Senior has also had a good month, along with Manager Crockford, while Pritchard Junior has transfered his way out of a terrible start.
Most surprising is the fall from grace for the August MOTM. Manager Dale had a difficult month, along with other SFP stalwarts Walters and Jermy Junior.
