After 17 seasons at the helm, Spartak Manager Michael Lucchesi has walked away from the remainder of the 2017/18 season.

February was a difficult month. First Spartak failed to qualify for the knockout stages of the SFP Cup, before they slipped into the bottom two in the league and were then eliminated from the Quarter Finals of the 5ASide Cup. With nothing left to play for, Lucchesi feels it’s time to step aside, reflect and re-group.

"I’m putting myself on gardening leave. I probably won’t pick a team again this season. We’re adrift. Season to forget. Planning for next season has begun."

League leader Dale picks up his 2nd MOTM award of the campaign, as his side becomes the first club ever to break 200 in February.

In what’s been a significant month of scoring, according to most managers Dale now has both hands firmly on the trophy:
