After despatching Just The Tip in the SFP Cup Quarter Finals last weekend, manager McNamara is confident his side can reach the final.

His side have been handed a Semi Final match-up with The A Team, who themselves are chasing a cup treble, being top of the FFACup table and also making the 5ASide Cup Semi Finals.

McNamara is hoping for a strong end to the campaign:

"We went into the derby game wanting to make a statement and that’s what we did. Silverware this season is going to have to come through the cup and we are now 100% committed to making the final."

"To be honest, we see the A-Team as a favorable draw and will be looking to put the tie to bed in the first leg again. We’re so dangerous going forward, and although it’s taken a while to gel, this team is really having a strong back end to the season ."

It's been an absoultely epic week of SFP scoring in both the league and the cup, as we approach the business end of the season.

In the league, Wheeler Dealers have ended Spartak Cheese's 19 week stay at number one, while Under Pressure and Atletico Magicmen have 50 plus weeks, ramping up the pressure on the top two should they slip up. With Rob-O-Klopp only 47 points off top spot themselves, yet again we hear ourselves claiming 'the tighest title race in SFP history'.

In the SFP Cup, The A Team overturned a 1st leg deficit against Crackers to set up a semi final tie with Inter Yourmum FC, who themselves ended up 7:2 winners against Just The Tip. Atletico Magicmen also came from behind, with a 3:1 victory against Butt Kickers in their second leg, setting up a semi final head-to-head with Rob-O-Klopp, who saw off Spartak Cheese with a 4:1 win.

The SFP Cup returns this weekend, with the conclusion of the Quarter Finals.

Three of the ties are delicately poised, with Crackers, Rob-O-Klopp and Butt Kickers all holding a one goal lead in their respective ties.

It's Just The Tip who have a seemingly impossible task as they chase down a 6:1 lead against rivals Inter Youmum FC.

Wheeler dealers Boss Walters claimed his second MOTM award of the season as his side shaved 27 points off Lucchesi's lead.

A close second was Rob Dale, who also intensified his title challenge, while Pritchard Senior also had a solid month.

At the other end of the scale, Pritchard Junior's focus on 5ASide Cup fixtures meant his side failed to reach teh 50 points mark for the month.
